Museums and Historical Centers
Humans inhabited the Gorge thousands of years before Lewis & Clark explored it. And the unique history of the region extends thousands of years prior to human habitation -- to the cataclysmic Ice Age Floods that formed Gorge we see today. These museums and educational centers offer a host of natural and cultural history exhibits on the Gorge.
