Focus: Wildflowers
This morning hike is only 30 miles from Portland, to the western most end of the proposed Columbia Gorge Wilderness. Come on a “one mile an hour” hike with ONRC’s Wildland’s Advocate Wendell Wood. Group will discuss forest ecology and plant uses; plant list (with common and scientific names with page references to Russ Jolley’s Wildflowers of the Columbia Gorge) of all species to be seen, will be provided.
