Gorge Walk: 2.5 miles, 250-ft elev. gain
Focus: Ecology/Stewardship, Family Friendly
Enjoy the western Gorge and help protect native wildflowers. Great event for kids. Friends’ volunteer Helen Lyman and Menucha groundskeeper Lynn Gibbons will provide supplies for easy work, pulling garlic mustard (Alliaria petiolata).
First Meeting Place: Depart from Gateway at 8:30 AM.
Second Meeting Place: 9:00 AM at Portland Women’s Forum (I-84 east to Corbett Exit 22; up hill to Scenic Highway; turn left and continue approx. 2 miles to Portland Women's Forum viewpoint on the left.)
