Trek through oak woodlands and fields of balsamroot, lupine and desert parsley with wildflower enthusiast Ray Hayden on public land high above the river.
First Meeting Place: Depart from Gateway at 8:00 AM.
Second Meeting Place: 10:00 AM at Dalles Mt. Ranch, lower yard (I-84 to Exit 87; take The Dalles Bridge to WA. After 3 mi., turn right on WA Hwy 14; continue east 1 mile to Dalles Mt. Rd.; turn left and travel 3.5 mi. to parking area by farmhouse).
