Join Friends leader Laura Dickinson on this now-landlocked island visited by Lewis and Clark. Stroll through grassy meadows and rolling hills to enjoy river-level views and look for eagles, osprey, deer, and California sea lions.
First Meeting Place: Meet 9:00 a.m. Fisher’s Landing Transit Center, WA. (Take I-205 north to WA SR-14; go east to Exit 8 at 164th Ave.; turn left/north at exit; transit center is on left.)
Second Meeting Place: North Bonneville, WA. (Take I-84 east to Exit 44 Cascade Locks, cross Bridge of the Gods and turn left on WA SR-14. Continue west, then turn left between MP 37 and MP 38 into N. Bonneville; turn right on Cascade Dr., meet in parking lot across from Chevron.)
