Angel's Rest Trail Work Party

Drainage Maintenance Work Party
Angel's Rest
Tuesday, Dec. 8th, 2009

Please join Trailkeepers of Oregon for a weekday work party in the Gorge!

This volunteer event will provide some of the regular maintenance required
to prevent trail erosion on one of the most-hiked trails in the
Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area: Angel's Rest.

The longevity of highly-used trails is assured by proper water control.
Our work plan is to ensure drainage features such as wing ditches,
drainage dips, and water bars all along the trail are properly cared for.

Ryan Ojerio of the Washington Trails Assocation and member of Trailkeepers' Board of Directors will be leading this outing. Having Ryan on this work party will make it an excellent learning experience!

As always: All experience levels are welcome! TKO provides hard harts,
tools, and your training. You provide your time and willingness to be safe,
have fun, and do a little work! The work will involve hiking up some steep stretches of trail.
